The CDIA is a nationally recognized authority in disability protection income research and education.

Our membership-driven Research and Education Committee collaborates to identify and review data sources extending beyond the typical boundaries of the disability sector and, if necessary, conduct new studies to fill in critical knowledge gaps.

We aim to measure potential industry changes and impacts, share our findings with members, and disseminate relevant information to the media, consumers, employers, and advisors.

Goals and Objectives

The Research and Education Committee is a collegial forum for members to discuss pressing issues affecting our audiences: working consumers, employers, and financial advisors. We employ a three-pronged approach focused on outside-in research, curation, and quick insights.

CDIA Member Webinars: Insights Exchange

We leverage the strength of our diverse membership to explore topics of interest and concern, providing valuable insights to help members understand the implications for their clients. We’ve hosted three members-only webinar discussions this year, with a fourth scheduled and open to employees of all member companies.
