Reaching New and Established Audiences
Each year, the CDIA and its member companies launch national outreach campaigns to raise awareness about disability income protection. Typically spanning eight weeks, these campaigns coincide with the fall benefits enrollment season and again in the spring for brokers, human resource officers, and other insurance experts.
Each campaign is developed with insights and data gathered from the marketing and research committees, made up of CDIA members, as well as contributions from the CDIA staff. Campaign articles are promoted across online channels and are re-shared by member companies, increasing the reach for both members and the CDIA.
Protect Tomorrow Today: Spring 2026 Disability Awareness Campaign
During April and May, The CDIA is running our annual Spring Campaign, which, together with DIAMTM, emphasizes the importance of disability income insurance for working Americans. The theme is “Protect Tomorrow Today” and we’re publishing two blog articles each week by content experts with facts, insights and advice.
With this campaign, we’re addressing employers, agents, brokers and benefit representatives, as well as the general public, to expand the conversation about disability income, and to encourage thoughtful and informed decisions. The absence of emergency savings, rising medical costs, and an overall trend of fewer employers offering benefits to workers has created a uniquely challenging time. It’s important to understand that without some kind of income protection, more Americans could face severe financial difficulty if they need to miss work due to illness, injury or pregnancy.
